OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Interpret the newest clinical (including genetic) discoveries and guidelines related to non-hereditary and hereditary  pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma, (2) Discuss the most updated recommendations and guidelines on how to perform biochemical testing in patients with non-hereditary and hereditary pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma, (3) Recognize and analyze the newest discoveries and guidelines regarding functional imaging of non-hereditary and hereditary pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma, (4) Outline the newest therapeutic approaches for patients with non-hereditary and hereditary pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma.
