OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Identify strategies to mitigate bleeding risk in the prevention of stroke related to atrial fibrillation, (2) Recognize gaps in the data for left atrial appendage occlusion, (3) Evaluate changes in the approach to rhythm vs rate control in atrial fibrillation.
