OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Discuss the psychological and emotional impact of caring for dying patients on healthcare professionals, including potential burnout risks, (2) Explore evidence-based coping strategies and self-care practices that can support healthcare professionals in maintaining resilience, emotional well-being, and professional efficacy while caring for dying patients, (3)Examine the importance of creating a supportive work environment and organizational culture that acknowledges the unique needs and challenges faced by healthcare professionals caring for dying patients.
