Upon Completion of this activity, the attendee should be able to:
- Identify when a minor can consent for their own treatment.
- Recognize when parents must be informed of treatment provided to a minor and when such information is within the discretion of the physician.
- Implement use of screening tools to Identify primary comorbidities associated with ADHD.
- Select the best treatment options for ADHD based upon patient mental health co-morbidities.
- Identify the common signs and symptoms and unique additional challenges of IBD in the pediatric population.
- Educate patients and their families about the diagnostic and treatment strategies for IBD to improve long-term therapeutic goals.
- Identify risk factors associated with these common respiratory viruses.
- Educate patients and their families about the diagnostic modalities and treatment options for common pediatric respiratory illnesses.
