OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:  (1) Identify an apply appropriate triage for stroke patients, (2) Discuss the patient's surgical risk and cardiovascular health to select the appropriate treatment strategy, (3) Improve interventional and surgical techniques, (4) Reduce time treatment for better patient outcomes.
