Integrate updates to NCCN, ASCO or other guidelines for cancer patients into professional practice. Physicians have many options when treating patients diagnosed with cancer. Standard of care is to follow the NCCN guidelines for cancer and to stay up to date with changes in treatment modalities.
OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to – 1) Decide when surgery, chemo ad or radiation should be used for treatment for the specific patients, 2) Introduce new pathological tests that can provide prognostic indicators for treatment decisions, 3) Identify new drugs and or treatment modalities and formulate the best treatment plan for patient cases discussed.
