The field of cardiology is broad, complex, and specialized in the management of a wide variety of medical conditions. Due to the complexity of the fields, physicians cannot maintain competence without ongoing education in the field as a whole. 1. Identify morbidity and mortality issues related to General Cardiology patients

2. Discuss communication amongst peers, the employment of clinical research to advance knowledge and techniques to improve patient outcomes

3. Discuss evidence based therapies, strategies/algorithms and the viability of novel technologies, their implementations and discuss potential solutions to diagnosis and treat the issues
