OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:   (1) Identify the appropriate NCCN and ASH guidelines, (2) Recognize common presenting symptoms and understand treatment modalities for patients with leukemia.  (3) Analyze clinical trials available for leukemic patients through the Baylor Research Institute.
