OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Review acquired brain injury, DOC guidelines, and prognosis, (2) Discuss commonly used robotic gait rehabilitation devices with particular focus on the exoskeleton (Ekso), and (3) Analyze a current BSWIR research project regarding safety and tolerance of brain injury patients in the exoskeleton.
