OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Identify the key components of respiratory training protocols including common practices and instruments (Rodrigues et al., 2025), (2) Evaluate the methodological rigor of the study as it pertains to generalizable principles to practice (Rodrigues et al., 2025), (3) Explain the limitations of this particular systematic review as it pertains to respiratory training in cervical SCI (Rodrigues et al., 2025), (4) Identify whether treatment with baclofen is neurologically safe with respect to exposure during recovery from spinal cord injury (Cragg et al., 2019), (5) Analyze if baclofen adverse effects were appropriately identified and analyzed in the study (Cragg et al., 2019), (6) Identify sources of bias and analyze if appropriately addressed (Cragg et al., 2019).
