OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:  (1) Discuss the chondrotoxic potential of different local anesthetics used in injection therapy; (2) Analyze the systematic review data for evaluate the statistically significant evidence deleterious effects different local anesthetics used in injection therapy; (3) Review the methods and data collection criteria to identify bias within data collection/article selection (Jayaram, et al., 2019); (4) Discuss the background of TFESI as a tool to treat radicular pain; (5) Analyze if there were significant differences in effectiveness between particulate and non particulate treatment groups’ (6) Identify potential sources of biases in this particular study design (Kennedy et al., 2014)
