In this activity, there are standards of care and government mandates documentation of prognostic indicators and staging which are constantly evolving new therapeutic approaches introduced or investigated through clinical trials for cancer.

OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

1. Identify appropriate clinical and/or pathologic staging for improving knowledge to various forms of malignancy by discussion of national treatment guidelines.

2. Define and differentiate the various treatment and management options for pre and post-surgery cases

3. Recognize available and appropriate clinical trials and provide enrollment options

4. Differentiate and utilize the recommendations from current clinical guidelines/national treatment standards
