This conference was created to provide Advanced Practice Providers and Physicians with up-to-date clinical information to prepare for the care of pediatric patients in the acute/urgent care setting.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, the attendee should be able to:
- Identify and treat emergent/urgent needs of pediatric patients.
- Understand and identify when escalation of care is indicated in various different clinical situations.
- Identify local resources to support the care of pediatric patients including emergency care, specialty care and planning.
- Identify the most common differential for abdominal pain, ENT concerns and acute neurological needs.
- Understand care of the diabetic child during illness, as well as red flags for new onset diabetes and DKA.
- Discuss various case studies to apply knowledge gained and understand escalation of care in pediatric patients.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Refunds (less $50 administrative fee) will be provided to registrants who cancel their registration two weeks prior to the course if cancellation by registrant becomes necessary. Refunds will be processed in the same form of payment as registration was received.
