44th Annual Internal Medicine Review 2025

The Internal Medicine Review for the Primary Care provider  is designed to provide the internal medicine and primary care physician as well as the physician assistants and nurse practitioners with information directly applicable to daily patient care. The topics represent some of the most common problems encountered in clinical practice. Emphasis will be placed on the pertinent practical aspects of patient care and problems encountered in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Related topics will be grouped together to ensure that relevant questions can be addressed by medical experts in those fields.

Learning Objectives

Designed to provide the internal medicine and primary care physician, physician assistant and nurse with information directly applicable to daily patient care. The topics represent some of the most common problems encountered in clinical practice and emphasis will be placed on the pertinent practical aspects of patient care and problems encountered in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.

Upon completion of this activity, the attendee should be able to:

  • Apply current concepts in internal medicine to problems faced in daily practice
  • Demonstrate better management and treatment of patients with medical problems commonly encountered in practice such as cardiology, gastroenterology, pulmonary, hematology/oncology and wound care
  • Improve knowledge and test-taking skills essential for successful ABIM certification and recertification

    Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 23.00 MOC points in the American Board of Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Additionally, registration is open to all companies interested in exhibiting at this activity. 
The exhibit space is separate from the area where the education is being delivered.  Exhibit times will be from 6:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. daily.

The fee for exhibiting for the week is $XXXX for one six foot table. $600 for each additional table.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refunds (less $100 administrative fee) will be provided to registrants who cancel their registration two weeks prior to the course if cancellation by registrant becomes necessary. Refunds will be processed in the same form of payment as registration was received.

Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH) reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course due to unforeseen circumstances. In the unlikely event that BSWH must cancel or postpone this course, the registration fee will be fully refunded.  BSWH is not responsible for any related costs, charges, or expenses to participants, including fees assessed by airline, travel or lodging agencies.
