OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Discuss the various ways biomarker research has impacted the field of traumatic brain injury, (2) Identify the various secondary health consequences TBI can lead to, (3) Analyze the various proteomic and metabolomic differences that were observed in the chronic TBI participant group when compared to healthy controls.
