OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Discuss Blood Flow Restriction therapy as it pertains to rehabilitation, (2) Analyze a review article on Blood Flow Restriction therapy, (3) Describe what Blood Flow Restriction therapy is (Trybulski et. al., 2025); (4) Describe the definition and key characteristics of "exercise snacks" as an intervention strategy, including the parameters of duration, frequency, and intensity, (5) Analyze the meta-analytic findings regarding the effects of exercise snacks on cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) in physically inactive adults, and muscular endurance in older adults, (6) Identify the methodological limitations of the included studies (Rodriguez, et. al., 2025).
