OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:  (1) Define the pathophysiology of Parkinson's Disease, as well as PD-specific terms such as "on" and "off" time, (2) Review the study design, including methods, strengths, limitations, and sources of bias, (3) Discuss how the findings of this article may impact the treatment of advanced Parkinson's Disease going forward (Soileau et al., 2022); (4) Describe and review the study design, methodology, and clinical outcomes of the selected journal article relevant to PM&R practice, (5) Identify and explain key findings from the literature and their implications for clinical decision-making in rehabilitation medicine (Mahlknecht et al., 2022).
