OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Describe the pathophysiology and clinical manifestations of Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency.  (2) Apply current screening recommendations to identify patients at risk for Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency.  (3) Evaluate current and emerging treatment options for patients with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency.
