OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

1. Apply NCCN guidelines and other evidence-based standards when developing treatment plans for thoracic cancer patients.

2. Identify optimal timing for surgical intervention in patients with metastatic disease to improve outcomes.

3. Integrate emerging treatment modalities and clinical trial options into multidisciplinary care planning for complex cases.

4. Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to formulate comprehensive, patient-centered treatment strategies.
