OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

1. Review pharmacology and physiology of SGLT2 and GLP 1 medications

2. Discuss Anesthetic considerations on patients taking SGLT2 and GLP1 medications.

3 .Describe treatment and follow-up care for patients experiencing complications related to SGLT2 and GLP1 medications in

the perioperative period.
