OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: (1) Analyze differences in demographics and comorbidities between patients with inpatient onset STEMI compared to outpatient onset STEMI. (2) Evaluate differences in clinical outcomes between patients with inpatient onset STEMI compared to outpatient onset STEMI. (3) Identify ways that patients with onset of STEMI in the hospital can receive faster recognition and treatment.
