Join us for a special session "Meet the Doulas" where you’ll hear from experienced doulas from the United Way of Tarrant County and Trust Her Doula Initiative. These doulas can provide free labor and delivery and postpartum support to eligible families in Tarrant County. During the session, you will learn how doulas can enhance your birth experience, offer emotional and physical comfort, and advocate for your needs during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. You will get to meet the 5 doulas on the team, and receive assistance in applying if interested. Eligible families can receive prenatal sessions, attendance at birth and delivery, and up to 8 postpartum visits within the first year after delivery, all for no cost. Whether you're expecting your first baby or adding to your family, this class will connect you with valuable, compassionate resources!

This two-day series focuses on preparation for childbirth, emphasizing the experience of labor and birth, as well as the important role of the support person. A variety of comfort measures are taught and practiced in class, including relaxation and breathing techniques. Special procedures and epidurals are discussed, along with an overview of cesarean birth, the postpartum period, and newborn care.

Caring for an infant or young child is a big responsibility—and being prepared can make all the difference. Our Infant CPR & Safety class is an in person, hands on learning experience designed to give you the confidence and skills to respond calmly and effectively in an emergency. This non certification class focuses on real life situations parents and caregivers may encounter, helping you turn a life threatening moment into a life saving one. You’ll also learn practical tips to reduce the risk of preventable accidents at home and beyond.
