    Prepare for a successful breastfeeding journey with our in person Breastfeeding Class at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Lake Pointe. This class covers: • The benefits of breastfeeding for both mom and baby • How to get off to a strong start in the hospital • Practical tips for the first few weeks at home • What to do and where to get help if challenges arise • Guidance on pumping and weaning To ensure a comfortable learning environment, classes are limited to 10 couples.

Included: Short hospital tour video  Go over the key areas you will come across during your stay: -General Information -Labor & Delivery -Neonatal Intensive Care Unit -New Family Center -Food Services Discussion to answer any questions. By the end of our virtual tour, you will know where to go and what to expect for your baby's birth.

This essential, hands-on class is designed to equip parents, grandparents, and caregivers with the skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively in a life threatening emergency involving an infant or child. Participants will learn practical techniques through guided practice, helping turn fear and uncertainty into calm, lifesaving action. This non certification course focuses on real world preparedness, empowering attendees to recognize emergencies and respond appropriately until professional help arrives. Whether you are new to caregiving or want a refresher, this class builds confidence and readiness through clear instruction and hands on experience. Important Registration Information • Registration is required for each individual. Even if attending together, each person must register individually.
