2021 Graduate Medical Education Retreat and Faculty Development - 20210820
The Graduate Medical Education Retreat and Faculty Development program will promote continuous preparation for ACGME self-study. It will provide familiarity with process and preparation for annual program evaluation. Participants will review virtual interview opportunities and resources to ensure success. The program will provide insight for the development of skills to allow firm, fair and appropriate redirection and application of resources to ensure boundary issues do not develop and/or escalate.

The Culture of Safety and Resident Education |
Description: Culture of Safety describes the human relational aspects required to keep patients and coworkers safe. Dr. White is a communications and organizational psychology specialist who works with the department of surgery to improve our outcomes. |

DEI and the APA Description: The psychology fellowships recently completed a rigorous self-study in preparation for APA accreditation. Dr. Clemons learned the BSWMC-Temple state of DEI and has insights as to next steps for our educational programs and patient care practice. Objective: Apply lessons from our psychology department to the unified ACGME imperative to improve DEI amongst learners, faculty, and patients. |
