Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

  • Discuss how documentation is utilized and why it is relevant to all clinicians.
  • Review high-level knowledge of Risk Adjustment & Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) coding.
  • Better identify common inpatient risk adjustable diagnoses
  • Incorporate general pearls for more accurate and complete documentation.
  • Apply Epic tools to appropriately maximize HCC capture.
