Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:

  • Identify key documentation components specific to hematology. ​
  • Apply in practice, high-level knowledge of Risk Adjustment and Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC).​
  • Incorporate improved documentation strategies that affect risk adjustment to show the complexity of each patient. ​
  • Utilize the Epic Diagnosis Calculator to arrive at the most specific diagnosis applicable to your patient
