Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
- Describe “malnutrition” and understand the clinical presentation.
- Apply diagnostic criteria of severe and moderate protein-calorie malnutrition per ASPEN/AND Indicators of Malnutrition (AAIM).
- Review incidence, impact, and related complications of malnutrition.
- Analyze examples of malnutrition workflows in clinical practice and best practices for documentation.
