  • Initiate timely, evidence-based management of common obstetric emergencies in accordance with national guidelines
  • Escalate care appropriately and efficiently, engaging the correct team members without delay
  • Apply standardized communication and teamwork strategies during obstetric emergencies
  • Integrate learned protocols into daily clinical practice to reduce unwarranted variation in care
