OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to: 

  1. Identify the appropriate NCCN guideline-based care for patients with primary liver cancer, as well as metastatic disease.
  2. Recognize common presenting symptoms of primary and secondary liver cancer
  3. Analyze treatment modalities applicable to patients with primary and secondary liver cancer
  4. Interpret MRI and other imaging scans for patients with liver cancer
  5. Review trials and new surgical techniques available for appropriate liver cancer patients in the BSWH Health System.
