
2026 Women Leaders in Medicine Spring Summit
This full-day leadership development session will introduce 100+ women physicians and healthcare professionals to the Enneagram as a practical framework for emotional intelligence, team dynamics, and self-leadership. Led by Ian Morgan Cron, author of The Road Back to You, the session is designed to deepen participants’ understanding of their own leadership patterns and improve relational effectiveness in complex clinical and administrative settings.

Learning Objectives
Upon completing this activity the learner should be able to:
1. Increase Self-Awareness and Emotional Intelligence
- Participants will identify their Enneagram type and gain insight into habitual thought, feeling, and behavior patterns that shape their leadership.
- Learn how self-awareness impacts decision-making, communication, and interpersonal trust.
- Recognize personal triggers and automatic responses that can affect collaboration, resilience, and effectiveness.
2. Apply the Enneagram Framework to Leadership in Medicine
- Discover how each Enneagram type brings both distinct strengths and predictable blind spots to leadership and teamwork.
- Explore type-specific leadership challenges common in healthcare (such as perfectionism, overextension, conflict avoidance) and strategies to balance these tendencies with balance and grace.
- Use the Enneagram as a practical lens for navigating relational dynamics with colleagues, patients, and interdisciplinary teams.
3. Foster Resilience, Connection, and Psychological Safety
- Cultivate empathy and compassion by understanding the core motivations and stress responses that shape your own and others’ behavior.
- Learn to create psychological safety by honoring diverse communication styles and emotional needs within teams.
- Strengthen community and connection among women physicians through shared reflection, storytelling and authentic dialogue.
