Danny Little, MD - Session- 5 - Bringing it all together “Out of the Canyon back into the hospital?”
- Description- Summarize the experience similar to when you brought us all together at the end of our hike the next morning. Share your summary of the event, highlight moments and lead discussion of others that feel led to share. Direct participants to the post test to assess outcomes.
- Objectives:
- Identify summative actionable items that will help you achieve personal set goals.
- Activity- In our closing session, participants will identify summative actionable items “take home points.” Participants who feel comfortable, will share with the group led by small group facilitation.
- Participants will attest to completing at least one hour of session activity and identify changes upon claiming CME.
- Small group attendance will be collected by facilitator.
Location: Grand Canyon National Park. - Being in nature will distance the learner cohort from the stimuli of clinical/academic practice into a remote environment with ample opportunity for self reflection and small group discussion. Participants benefit from the healing effect of a natural environment (forest bathing) and offered the opportunity for direct engagement through participant appropriate physical activities.
