This course is perfect for first time parents as well as for those who have already experienced childbirth. It will also provide parents with the information on breastfeeding, car seat safety and newborn care.
Let us help you have the informed birth you desire! Our class was designed and created to help take the fear out of childbirth through evidence-based research, education, and informed consent. Couples will be prepared for an empowered birth experience. This class is register/pay per couple so please only register yourself. One partner is automatically allowed to attend the class with you. Childbirth classes include a tour; you do not need to enroll in a standalone tour separately.
Our hospital tour offers parents and siblings an opportunity to prepare for the big day. We will take a tour and answer any questions that might help ease any anxiety and make the process more enjoyable! This tour is offered at no cost. Childbirth Basics helps moms prepare for delivery during this most exciting time in your life. To assist those first-time parents, we offer comprehensive childbirth classes monthly, covering such topics as stages of labor and delivery, epidurals, postpartum care, breathing, relaxation and massage techniques, pain control strategies, interventions in labor, C sections and many more. Each class concludes with a tour of the OB Unit. Register expectant mother only.
This course is an important planning tool for preparing for breast pump use and maximizing milk expression and storage. We will discuss and provide must- have resources for balancing and maintaining supply, preparing mom and baby and partner and returning to work. The knowledge a mom gains from this class will help with confidence and help establish pumping goals.

You have a lot to look forward to, and probably more than a few questions and concerns about what to expect over the coming months. Consider the Understanding Pregnancy eClass your go-to guide for answers you can trust.  This interactive online class covers essential information on your baby's development, helpful tips for a healthy pregnancy, and includes partner tips throughout. You'll see how your baby develops with 3D animation and have access to helpful trackers and checklists that help you stay organized and healthy. Allow 2-3 hours to complete.
This interactive online course covers essential information for the first two weeks after birth, including taking care of yourself, caring for your newborn, and feeding your baby. It also highlights important warning signs, so you know when to call for help. Allow about 2 hours to complete.
Planning a birth with few to no medical interventions? Learn how at your own time and pace! This interactive online course builds on what you have already learned in a standard childbirth preparation class. You will learn more about natural childbirth, comfort techniques, and how to write a natural birth plan. By watching several birth stories, you will also get a sense of what natural birth is like. Allow 3-4 hours to complete.
