UPDATE: Texas Medical Board CME Credit Reporting

Baylor Scott & White Health CME continues to progress toward compliance with the Texas Medical Board (TMB) requirement for provider‑reported CME credits, effective September 1, 2026.

  • System integration work between our CME platform (EthosCE) and CE Broker is underway.
  • Vendors have confirmed readiness to begin testing in mid‑May.
  • CME will validate automated reporting processes prior to implementation.

What physicians need to know:

  • Physicians will need an individual CE Broker account at the “Basic” (no‑cost) level to support automated CME credit reporting to the Texas Medical Board.
  • No changes are required to how physicians currently participate in or claim CME at this time.

Additional updates and instructions will be shared as testing progresses and we approach the September 1, 2026, implementation date.

Automated credit reporting for Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH) activities is currently under development. Our CME department is actively finalizing internal processes and integrating the BSWH learning management system (EthosCE) with CE Broker and the Texas Medical Board (TMB) to ensure physician participation records are reported accurately and automatically.

We anticipate providing an update to system providers in early May, with automated reporting targeted to be in place by September 1.

Please continue to visit this CE Broker Project announcement page for the most current updates and information as this work progresses.
