She is also the founder of Writing Medicine, a global community dedicated to helping healthcare professionals use storytelling to build resilience, foster connection, and communicate with authenticity. Her acclaimed books, including Animal Madness and What Looks Like Bravery, explore the intersections of medicine, science, grief, and human connection. Through her teaching, writing, and workshops, Dr. Braitman has inspired thousands of healthcare professionals to use narrative as a tool for leadership, healing, and personal growth.
