Concept
Increased societal awareness of the needs of the dying and bereaved requires helpers to utilize up-to-date theoretical principles and innovative treatment techniques to help patients/families prepare for the end of life, navigate events surrounding death, manage acute grief, and adjust after bereavement.
Target Audience
This educational activity is designed for professionals and lay persons involved in the care of the dying and bereaved, including physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, counselors, chaplains/clergy, hospice workers, allied health professionals, funeral directors, and volunteers.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists - Baylor Scott & White Health has been approved a a continuing education sponsor for the Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists. The program on Friday is approved for 6 hours of CE credit.
