This two‑day childbirth education series provides comprehensive preparation for labor and birth, with a focus on the childbirth experience and the essential role of the support person.

Participants will learn and practice:

• Comfort measures to support coping during labor
• Relaxation techniques
• Breathing techniques

Yoga mats are available for use during class.

The class also covers:

• Special procedures
• Epidural anesthesia
• Overview of cesarean birth
• Postpartum recovery
• Newborn care

Bonus: A guided maternity tour is included to help participants feel familiar with the facility and confident for their delivery experience. Separate registration for a maternity tour is not required.
