Myers, MD Lectureship in Pediatrics, a focused half day virtual conference designed to empower pediatric providers with the knowledge and practical strategies needed to address some of the most pressing and often underrecognized challenges in today’s pediatric practice. This year’s program brings together expert pediatric faculty to address critical gaps in clinical practice related to human trafficking, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and complex neuromotor conditions. Through evidence based guidance and real world clinical insights, participants will gain tools to improve early identification, strengthen interdisciplinary coordination, and optimize long term health outcomes for vulnerable pediatric populations.

A board-certified lactation consultant will facilitate the discussion during the online breastfeeding support group.

05/21/2026 - 6:00pm to 8:00pmBreastfeeding covers the benefits for both the mom and baby, getting off to a good start in the hospital, tips for the first few weeks at home, how to get help if problems arise, and advice on pumping and weaning. For social distancing, classes are being limited to 10 couples per class.

05/21/2026 - 6:30pm to 9:00pmThis class for expectant parents focuses on the joys and common concerns of breastfeeding. Information includes the benefits for mothers and babies, initiating feedings, maintaining a milk supply and other practical considerations. Discussion includes basic breastfeeding knowledge and its importance, latch and positioning, breast care, breast milk storage and breastfeeding lifestyle. Registration fee includes a partner. This class is taught by an IBCLC
