05/18/2025 - 9:00am to 5:00pmThis class focuses on preparation for childbirth, emphasizing the experience of labor and birth and the important role of the support person . A variety of comfort measures are taught and practiced in class, including relaxation and breathing techniques. Special Procedures and epidurals are discussed, as well as an overview of cesarean birth, postpartum, and the newborn. Registration fee includes partner. Yoga mats are available at the class.

Our class was designed and created to help take the fear out of childbirth through evidence-based research, education, and informed consent. Couples will be prepared for an empowered birth experience. This class is register/pay per couple so please only register yourself. One partner is automatically allowed to attend the class with you. Childbirth classes include a tour; you do not need to enroll in a standalone tour separately.

Section 1: This class provides guidance on newborn care, including detailed instructions on swaddling, diapering, and other essential caregiving techniques. Section 2: The second part of the class focuses on breastfeeding, including techniques for positioning and latching, as well as what to expect as your milk supply establishes.
