Our interactive Maternity Tour provides expectant families an opportunity to become familiar with all the services we provide on the Labor & Delivery and The New Family Center units. Please be sure to complete a separate registration for all who will attend the tour, including children and grandparents. Pre-registration assistance and practical information for new parents will be available after the tour.
This 3-week series helps you prepare for childbirth by focusing on the labor and birth experience, as well as the vital role of the support person. You'll learn and practice a variety of comfort measures, such as relaxation and breathing techniques. The class also covers: • Special procedures and epidurals • An overview of cesarean birth • Postpartum recovery and newborn care By the end of the series, you’ll feel more confident, informed, and ready for your birthing journey.

To help you prepare for your hospital stay between birth and discharge, we are sharing important patient education: Preparing for Your Hospital Stay & Recovery: Express Online Module. Please take 30-60 minutes to go through the module during your third trimester (be sure to complete it a few weeks before your due date). You are welcome to review it together with your partner or support people!
Growing your family? Help your child become a super sibling! This online sibling preparation class teaches you how to support your child as they grow into their role of big brother or sister. You will learn how to answer tough questions, ways to help your child feel involved, how to reduce jealousy, and more. Plus, to encourage your sibling-to-be, there are fun lessons to do together, complete with kid-friendly video clips, coloring pages, and activities (recommended for ages 3-7).
Expecting a grandchild? This class is for you! While birth and babies haven't changed, what we know about them has. This in-person class covers: • Evidence-based changes in birth • Breastfeeding • Baby care • Infant safety It also provides ways for new grandparents to offer support and assistance to the new family. You will learn what's new, refresh what you already know, and feel more comfortable when called upon to help care for your grandchild. Get ready to take on one of life's most rewarding roles!
