Prepare for labor and birth with confidence in our in‑person childbirth education class. Designed for expectant parents, this one‑day course focuses on the childbirth experience and the important role of the support person.
In this class, you will learn and practice:
- Comfort measures to support coping during labor
- Relaxation techniques
- Breathing techniques
Class also covers:
- Special procedures
- Epidural anesthesia
- Cesarean birth overview
- Postpartum recovery
- Newborn care
Bonus: A guided maternity tour is included to help you feel familiar, prepared, and confident for delivery. No separate registration required for a maternity tour.

Registration includes one expectant parent + support person.
Class Day Information
Attire:
Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for floor exercises. We recommend dressing in layers, as room temperatures may vary.
What to Bring:
Participants are encouraged to bring pillows for comfort. Yoga mats will be provided.
Meals & Breaks:
- A light breakfast and water will be provided.
- Lunch is on your own.
- The lunch break will be approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Participants are welcome to bring their own meal or explore nearby dining options.

Inclement Weather Policy: Class will be canceled if Grapevine-Colleyville ISD schools are closed.
