Overview
This childbirth preparation class is designed to guide expectant parents through the labor and birth experience, with a special emphasis on the vital role of the support person.
Participants will learn and practice a variety of comfort techniques, including relaxation and breathing exercises. The class also includes discussion of special procedures, epidurals, cesarean birth, postpartum recovery, and basic newborn care.
Target Audience
Enroll expectant parent, grandparents, or caregivers. (One support person encouraged to attend and does not need to enroll).
Registration fee includes partner.

Instructions for the Event
- Attire: Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for floor work and dress in layers, as the conference rooms can vary in temperature.
- What to Bring: Please bring pillows. Yoga mats will be provided.
- Meals: A light breakfast and water will be provided. Lunch is on your own.
- Lunch Break: The lunch break will be 45 minutes to 1 hour. Feel free to bring your own food or explore dining options in the local area.
