Overview
This one-day class is designed to prepare new mothers and their birth partners for the childbirth experience. You'll receive practical information and guidance to help you feel more confident and informed as you approach labor and delivery.
Topics include:
- The stages and progression of labor
- Pain control options, including natural techniques
- What to expect during a cesarean birth
- Specific practices and procedures at Labor & Delivery | Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – College Station
Target Audience
Enroll expectant parent, grandparents, or caregivers. (One support person encouraged to attend and should be added to registration).
Must be registered to deliver at Labor and Delivery | Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – College Station.
No children under the age of 16 (unless they are the patient).

Please park in the emergency room parking lot and enter the hospital through the Emergency room entrance. You will then turn right to head towards the clinic. Please follow signage.
