Preparing to Push - McKinney (In-Person Patient Class)
Prepare for a calm, empowered birth experience by learning how to work with your body through every phase of labor. This interactive class focuses on creating a supportive, low-stress environment that promotes hormonal balance, releases endorphins, and strengthens connection between you and your birth partner. This class is designed to complement a traditional childbirth education course by focusing specifically on physical comfort, partner involvement, and real-time coping tools you can use during labor.
You will learn practical, evidence-informed techniques to support labor and birth, including:
- Effective labor and pushing positions for each stage of labor
- Relaxation and comfort strategies to reduce tension and fear
- Breathing techniques designed for labor and delivery
- Hands-on comfort measures such as massage, pressure points, and partner support
- How to recognize signs of fetal malposition, prodromal labor, and ways to encourage productive labor progress
Registration Details
