Diabetes Boot Camp - Round Rock (In-Person Patient Class)
Measurably improve diabetes control by enhancing diabetes knowledge, skills and attitudes. This ADA-recognized Diabetes Self-Management Program provides all the basic skills required to live healthy with diabetes over the course of a lifetime. Participants will complete four sessions in one to four months. Each class is two hours, except Session 1, which is 2.5 hours.

Maternity Tour: McKinney (In-Person Patient Tour)

This interactive tour provides the expectant couple an opportunity to become familiar with Labor and Delivery, as well as the Postpartum and Nursery Units. All questions are welcomed.
Pre-registration is required. There is no fee.
These tours are very popular and have limited space, do NOT enroll in more than one tour.
Childbirth classes include a tour, you do not need to enroll in a standalone tour separately.
What's Cooking? - Dallas (In-Person Patient Class)

The Patient Resource Center offers a demonstration kitchen where a chef and registered dietitian teach patients and their families how to cook nutritionally and deliciously. Sometimes patients experience side effects that impact their nutritional intake and may need to know how to cook healthy foods that accommodate new nutrition and taste needs.

An in-depth weight loss surgery seminar with information presented by one of our bariatric surgeons on surgical options, risks, follow-up, and monitoring requirements. A nutrition class is also provided by our dietician.
Childbirth Basics: Lake Pointe (In-Person Patient Class)

Childbirth Basics helps moms prepare for delivery during this most exciting time in your life. To assist those first-time parents, we offer comprehensive childbirth classes monthly, covering such topics as stages of labor and delivery, epidurals, postpartum care, breathing, relaxation and massage techniques, pain control strategies, interventions in labor, C sections and many more. Each class concludes with a tour of the OB Unit.
Breastfeeding: Lake Pointe (In-Person Patient Class)
Breastfeeding covers the benefits for both the mom and baby, getting off to a good start in the hospital, tips for the first few weeks at home, how to get help if problems arise, and advice on pumping and weaning.
For social distancing, classes are being limited to 10 couples per class.
