Intro to breastfeeding (With the Childbirth Class only, not in Accelerated Childbirth Class):
- This class covers labor, childbirth (Vaginal and Cesarean), and the basics of breastfeeding, including what to expect in the hospital.
Target Audience
Expecting parents planning to deliver at our Labor and Delivery | Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Centennial
(Please note*** this is an accelerated course with ONLY Childbirth content covered. Breastfeeding content and tour will not be provided at this date/time)
- The class will include a tour of the Unit.
- The course does run the entire time, in most cases.
- We take frequent breaks and encourage you to bring snacks/drinks/lunch to make yourself comfortable during that time period.
- We do cover a lot of content during this class, and welcome questions throughout the process.
- The course does not include infant CPR, as that content is offered thru the American Heart Association or the Red Cross
