Expecting a grandchild? This class is for you. While babies haven’t changed, what we know about birth, infant care, and safety has evolved. This in‑person class is designed to help today’s grandparents feel informed, confident, and prepared to support the newest addition to the family.
Participants will learn what’s new, refresh familiar knowledge, and gain practical guidance to feel comfortable and confident when caring for their grandchild.

- Evidence‑based updates in birth and newborn care
- Breastfeeding fundamentals and ways grandparents can support feeding goals

Supporting the New Family
Beyond newborn care education, this class explores meaningful ways grandparents can provide encouragement, assistance, and practical support to new parents during the early weeks and months of parenthood—helping foster confidence and connection within the growing family.
