Barre is a low-impact form of exercise, and is a culmination of Pilates, yoga, and dance. Every move is done in beat with music, making it fun and high-energy! This full body workout is geared towards expecting women and includes pregnancy-safe exercises that will increase your strength and endurance to help your body prepare for labor.
Target Audience
This class is available to expectant mothers.
This is a 45-minute group exercise class designed specifically for expecting moms. We will use various equipment such as light hand weights, resistance bands, and small yoga balls to work your entire body. The instructor will provide educational handouts as well as tidbits throughout class on the significance of particular exercises. Each exercise can be modified to suit your exercise level and stage of pregnancy!
Note: Please bring water bottle and yoga mat if you prefer your own.
