Childbirth + Intro to Breastfeeding

• Childbirth Basics helps moms prepare for delivery during this most exciting time in your life. To assist those first-time parents, we offer comprehensive childbirth classes monthly, covering such topics as stages of labor and delivery, epidurals, postpartum care, breathing, relaxation and massage techniques, pain control strategies, interventions in labor, C sections and many more.
• Breastfeeding covers benefits for the mom and baby; getting off to a good start in the hospital, tips for the first few weeks at home, how to get help if problems arise and pumping and weaning.

Each class concludes with a tour of the OB Unit.
